Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage manipulates soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue – fascia) of the body and assists in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. Treatment includes techniques such as:

Deep Tissue – releases tension in the soft and connective tissue

Trigger Point Therapy – releases trigger points which refer pain, tingling and numbness to predictable sites

Myofascial Release – used in combination with deep tissue and trigger point therapy to remove restrictions and restore motion in the fascia

Sports – prevents pre-event and improves post event injuries

Pain Source Release – restores freedom of movement by way of the nervous system

While Remedial Massage treatment on a regular basis maintains soft tissue length, strength and flexibility it is an ideal treatment for issues such as strain/sprain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, sciatic pain, low back pain, muscle spasm, headaches/sinus, pre/post sporting events and/or injury

People who have had hip and knee replacements and/or soft tissue repair surgery often complete their post surgery treatment only to still be struggling with tight muscles and restricted/limited range of movement. Remedial Massage treatments can relieve these issues.

Many people have jobs where they long haul drive or are in a car most of the day, working long hours at a desk or computer, standing for long periods of time during the day or just have poor posture and often feel just flat, tired, sore and lethargic. Remedial Massage is a great treatment to loosen soft tissue, reduce pain, improve circulation, improve sleep and make the body feel better!
